Comunilife Inc. is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant for their DHS Transitional program in the Bronx.The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the office administrative functions program including maintaining program and client documentation, answering telephones, and other administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant supports procurement policies and procedures, orders office supplies, and prepares and maintains related program Office reports/records.
Essential Duties:
- Manages office supply inventory, filing and petty cash
- Updates and maintains resources
- Completes or supports basic functions of bookkeeping and basic accounting
- Maintains electronic database as appropriate
- Handles all incoming and outgoing phone calls, department mail and deliveries
Greets and provides access to individuals entering the building.
QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirement(s):
- Associate’s Degree in human services or related field preferred, GED or High School diploma required.
- Two (2) years’ administrative work experience
- Experience with HIV/AIDS afflicted individuals, chronic mental illness, substance abuse individuals and their families a plus
