The Boeing Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) portfolio is working on several development efforts for the Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) RF seeker and is looking for an Advanced Programs Technical Integration Lead Engineer to support these efforts at the Boeing Jetplex facility in Huntsville, Alabama.
The PAC-3 program is an air-defense, missile system designed to intercept tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker. Boeing's radar seekers provide target data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept, and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology. The PAC-3 Seeker team is a cross functional, highly skilled, motivated group embracing the beliefs that focused safety, execution, and lean manufacturing and business practices will secure our future, all while driving our product to be the seeker of choice for the PAC-3 program and future generations of weapon systems.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical integration activities across multiple advanced programs, ensuring seamless coordination between software, firmware, and hardware teams
  • Proactively challenge the status quo by identifying opportunities for improvement and driving innovative solutions that enhance program performance and integration
  • Collaborate closely with program leadership and engineering teams to understand and address technical and programmatic challenges
  • Drive solutions to technical roadblocks, balancing program requirements, security considerations, and product performance
  • Support technical engineers in solution development, documentation, and validation efforts
  • Serve as a critical technical liaison, partnered with chief engineers and program managers from various program areas across all aspects of the program lifecycle (development, production, sustainment)
  • Maintain a strong understanding of system-level interactions and integration points across software, firmware, and hardware domains
  • Drive the development of a technology roadmap that integrates future concepts with program, customer, and real-world tactical objectives
  • Ensure compliance with security and programmatic requirements throughout the product lifecycle

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience - demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical solutions
  • Comfortable and confident in questioning existing processes and technical approaches to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience in technical and programmatic integration for programs involving software, firmware, and hardware integration efforts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain a US Top Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of experience in Radar, Threat Analysis, Digital Signal Processing technologies
  • 5+ years of experience working with missile programs, interceptor design concepts, layered-defense concepts

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Level 4: $136,850 - $185,150
Level 5: $164,900 - $223,100
