The Role
Presidio is seeking a VP to lead the AI Strategy & Advisory Consulting team within the newly established AI Strategy & Enterprise Architecture organization. This team serves as Presidio's consulting front end for AI — engaging clients at the executive and business level, defining AI strategy and use cases, building business cases and ROI models, facilitating workshops, and producing the advisory deliverables that set the foundation for Presidio's cross-practice solution delivery.
The VP will lead a team of consultants including AI business strategists, consultants, architects, and advisors. The consulting team operates using a proven four-phase AI Journey methodology (Foundation, Clarify, Realize, Scale) and employs structured engagement entry points including AI Readiness Assessments, AI Strategy Workshops, Use Case Ideation sessions, and AI Risk Assessments.
The VP will also own internal AI POV development — creating repeatable frameworks, playbooks, and materials that enable the broader Presidio field to advance the AI GTM motion. The consulting team stays engaged through delivery to ensure what is built and delivered aligns with what was proposed and sold

This position is based in the United States (Remote) and would include up to 50%.

Responsibilities Include:

• Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and grow the AI Strategy & Advisory Consulting team of consultants. Hire, coach, and retain top-tier AI advisory talent including AI business strategists, consultants, architects, and advisors.
• Customer-Facing AI Strategy: Lead client engagements to define AI opportunities, prioritize use cases, and build executable AI frameworks. Facilitate AI strategy workshops, ideation sessions, value stream mapping, and implementation roadmaps.
• Business Case & ROI Development: Oversee the development of AI business cases, TCO/ROI models, and investment justification deliverables. Connect AI opportunities to measurable business value — revenue growth, cost reduction, competitive differentiation.
• AI Journey Methodology: Lead the team in executing Presidio's four-phase AI Journey framework (Foundation, Clarify, Realize, Scale). Meet clients wherever they are on their journey and build phased roadmaps that expand engagement over time.
• Delivery Oversight: Ensure the consulting team stays engaged through delivery — validating that what is built and delivered by the practices matches what was proposed and sold. Partner with the PM BU for consistent program management on engagements.
• Internal POV & Framework Development: Build repeatable frameworks, playbooks, reference architectures, and customer-facing materials that simplify complex AI topics. Develop materials covering AI Governance & Strategy, Hybrid AI Infrastructure, Use Case Prioritization, Agentic Orchestration, and Buy/Build/Borrow recommendations.
• Sales Enablement: Partner with field core sellers, BDMs, and field presales SAs to shape new AI opportunities, qualify pipeline, and support presales activities. Publish internal AI enablement materials.
• Practice Collaboration: Work closely with all internal Practice VPs and their presales teams to ensure consulting deliverables translate into actionable, practice-delivered solutions. Build strong working relationships with the AI Enterprise Architecture VP.
• P&L Contribution: Drive revenue from fee-based AI consulting services. Manage team utilization, pipeline, and delivery quality. Contribute to the BU's overall P&L targets.

Required Skills and Professional Experience:

• Advisory Expertise: 12+ years in technology consulting, strategy, or enterprise advisory roles. Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level AI strategy engagements and translate business objectives into technology roadmaps.
• Team Leadership: 7+ years leading consulting or advisory teams. Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing consultants. Experience managing a team P&L.
• Business Case & Value Modeling: Strong financial acumen — ability to build compelling AI business cases, TCO/ROI models, and investment justification frameworks tailored to C-suite audiences.
• Workshop Facilitation: Proven experience facilitating executive workshops including AI strategy sessions, ideation workshops, Three Horizons mapping, and innovation labs. Ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• AI & Technology Depth: Strong command of AI/ML concepts, Agentic AI, LLMs, data governance, and enterprise AI architecture. Able to speak credibly to both business and technical audiences.
• Consulting Methodology: Experience applying structured consulting methodologies (design thinking, value stream mapping, road mapping frameworks). Ability to productize engagements into repeatable delivery patterns.
• Communication & Presence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Able to present to C-level clients and produce executive-quality deliverables. Experience as a thought leader (speaking, publishing, client advisory).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent military experience. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• AI Governance Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and responsible AI frameworks. Experience designing AI governance structures for enterprise clients.
• Data Strategy Background: Experience with data modernization, data governance, and AI readiness assessments. Understanding of data architecture concepts that underpin AI initiatives.
• Partner Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with Presidio's primary AI partners — Dell, Cisco, NVIDIA, and AWS — and how their platforms enable AI use cases.
• Agentic AI Experience: Hands-on or advisory experience with Agentic AI architectures, multi-agent orchestration, and enterprise AI deployment at scale.
