Lazard’s Industrials team is committed to cultivating enduring relationships with clients, serving as a trusted strategic advisor in navigating the full spectrum of opportunities and challenges they face. The team operates in a highly dynamic environment in which team members at all levels routinely encounter complex, novel situations that demand collaboration and innovative thinking to find solutions for our clients.

On Lazard’s Industrials team, our Analysts work across multiple verticals and can expect to gain exposure to many of the following: Capital Goods, Transportation, Automotive, Business Services, Chemicals, Building Products and Packaging, and Aerospace and Defense, among others. 

We’ll trust you to:
  • Build and run comprehensive financial models and conduct a wide range of financial analyses 
  • Effectively analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information 
  • Perform company and industry research
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
  • Have a point of view and be willing to challenge the consensus
  • Be a team player and contribute to our culture
  • Interact with senior bankers and clients

You’ll need to have:
  • Strong analytical skills with extensive training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy 
  • Proven academic excellence and high degree of intellectual curiosity 
  • High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product
  • A team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both to deal teams and external clients
  • Strong ability to multi-task

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $120,000 - $125,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
