Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Design, build and ship production automation powered by large language models within a small, fast-moving engineering group. The work spans the whole lifecycle from initial design through release, with considerable independence and regular in-person time with business stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Build and deploy multi-agent AI workflows that run in production.
- Architect, implement and release scalable features on the core software platform.
- Join clients on-site to scope requirements and explain technical capabilities.
- Turn ambiguous, complex business processes into reusable platform components.
- Drive projects from start to finish with a high degree of independence.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- At least four years of professional software engineering, with a solid grounding in Python.
- Practical experience working with language model APIs and modern AI tooling, including rapid prototyping.
- Evidence of taking initiatives from idea to delivery with little supervision or formal process.
- A systems mindset, with an eye for reusable building blocks and design patterns.
- Polished communication and the confidence to present technical topics to finance professionals.
- Residence in the New York area and willingness to be in the office most of the week.
- Genuine enthusiasm for the AI field.
Bonus points
- Familiarity with Azure, React or Next.js, FastAPI, MongoDB or Redis.
- Background at a fintech, finance or AI-focused company.
- Strong academic background in computer science, math or engineering.

- Base salary: USD 180,000 to 220,000 per year
