The Architect/Advisor will rewrite data models and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud and S4 CDS views for performance improvement.
This is a remote position.
Comerit is searching for an Architect/Advisor - SAC and CDS Architect for an engagement with our client to rewrite seven (7) data models and reports that need to be rewritten for performance and business reasons. The data models are built as S4 CDS views and the reports exist in SAP Analytics Cloud.
Our client has identified one (1) data model/report (ZPER) that runs well and should serve as a
template from which the other seven (7) should follow.
Report List:
1. Budget Variance Report
2. Rolling Trend Report
3. Finance and Stat Report (Number of reports is TBD)
4. FTE & Payroll Summary
5. Department Stats by Period
6. Departmental Statistical Comparison (ZCSM)
7. Z Compare (ZCOM)
Deliverables:
1. A S4 CDS model per report in the above report list
2. A SAC dashboard per report in the above report list
3. Working sessions during development of S4 CDS model in lieu of a formal knowledge transfer
Approach:
• Review existing CDS view (Budget Variance Report)
• Rebuild BVR
• Review ZPER report as a potential template for remaining reports
Assumptions:
• Current BVR is correct per valuation and metrics established but performance is slow
• ZPER is the ideal metric in terms of performance
• Work will be performed remotely
• Will have access to S/4 CDS Views
• Will have access to SAC tenant
• Access to any pertinent system will be provided
• Training can be accomplished via shadowing the developer
