This is a remote position.

The Armis VIPR and ServiceNow SecOps Architect leads the design and delivery of integrated vulnerability prioritization, Unified Security Exposure Management (USEM), and remediation solutions using Armis Centrix for VIPR Pro and ServiceNow Security Operations. The Architect is responsible for solution architecture, technical direction, integration design, data strategy, and implementation quality across enterprise client engagements.

The Architect works directly with stakeholders across cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security operations, IT operations, infrastructure, application security, risk, and executive leadership. This role translates business and technical requirements into scalable solutions that consolidate security findings, enrich them with asset and threat context, prioritize exposures, assign remediation ownership, and track resolution across Armis VIPR and ServiceNow USEM workflows.

This is a technical, client-facing consulting role that provides design authority, leads Engineers, and works with Managers to ensure successful delivery. The Architect also helps clients evaluate and implement AI-enabled security and remediation capabilities using Armis intelligence and ServiceNow Otto, including exposure analysis, prioritization, predictive ownership, guided remediation, automation, and agentic workflows. These capabilities must be designed with appropriate security, privacy, governance, explainability, human oversight, and responsible-use controls.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

Client Consulting and Solution Leadership

  • Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, maturity assessments, design sessions, and solution reviews for Armis VIPR and ServiceNow SecOps engagements.
  • Develop a clear understanding of each client’s security environment, vulnerability-management processes, asset landscape, data sources, remediation model, governance requirements, and desired business outcomes.
  • Translate business, security, operational, and regulatory requirements into scalable solution architectures, implementation strategies, roadmaps, and future-state operating models.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders by explaining architectural options, technical dependencies, implementation risks, and recommended approaches.
  • Maintain alignment among client stakeholders, Managers, Engineers, product teams, and third-party vendors throughout solution design and delivery.

Armis VIPR Architecture and Delivery

  • Design Armis Centrix for VIPR Pro solutions that consolidate, normalize, deduplicate, enrich, prioritize, assign, and track vulnerabilities and other security findings.
  • Define approaches for integrating vulnerability scanners, cloud-security platforms, application-security tools, endpoint technologies, asset-intelligence sources, threat intelligence, and other security data with Armis VIPR.
  • Design risk-prioritization models that incorporate technical severity, exploitability, threat intelligence, asset criticality, business impact, exposure context, and client-defined risk factors.
  • Develop remediation ownership, assignment, exception, service-level, escalation, and closure processes that support accountable and measurable risk reduction.
  • Evaluate Armis AI-enabled capabilities, including predictive ownership and prioritization, and ensure their use aligns with client governance, security, transparency, and human-oversight requirements.

ServiceNow SecOps Architecture and Delivery

  • Design ServiceNow Security Operations solutions across Unified Security Exposure Management, Vulnerability Response, Security Incident Response, Security Posture Control, Configuration Compliance, and related capabilities.
  • Define ServiceNow workflows for finding ingestion, asset association, risk scoring, remediation-task creation, assignment, exception handling, approval, escalation, validation, and closure.
  • Design solutions that use CMDB, CSDM, business-service, asset, ownership, and organizational data to add business context and support accurate prioritization and assignment.
  • Determine the appropriate use of out-of-the-box functionality, configuration, integration, automation, or custom development based on client requirements and Templar Shield and ServiceNow platform leading practices.
  • Evaluate ServiceNow Otto capabilities for incident analysis, exposure prioritization, guided remediation, knowledge generation, reporting, and other security use cases while ensuring responsible AI implementation.

Integration and Data Architecture

  • Design integrations between Armis VIPR, ServiceNow SecOps, CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, vulnerability scanners, SIEM, EDR, cloud-security platforms, application-security tools, threat-intelligence sources, and other enterprise technologies.
  • Define integration patterns, APIs, data mappings, transformation rules, reconciliation logic, synchronization schedules, error handling, monitoring, and support requirements.
  • Establish clear system-of-record and system-of-action responsibilities across Armis VIPR, ServiceNow, security tools, asset repositories, and remediation platforms.
  • Design bidirectional workflows that preserve data integrity, prevent duplicate records, synchronize status and ownership, and provide traceability across the remediation lifecycle.
  • Develop data-quality, asset-correlation, normalization, deduplication, and governance strategies that improve the accuracy of exposure prioritization, assignment, and reporting.

Technical Leadership and Quality Assurance

  • Develop and maintain solution architecture documents, integration designs, data models, process flows, functional specifications, architectural decisions, and implementation guidance.
  • Establish technical standards and review configurations, workflows, integrations, data mappings, automation, and reporting for security, scalability, performance, maintainability, and upgrade compatibility.
  • Provide technical direction to Engineers and consultants, assign design and configuration activities, resolve complex technical issues, and validate completed work.
  • Support testing strategy, integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment planning, release readiness, production transition, and post-deployment stabilization.
  • Identify architectural risks, dependencies, assumptions, and technical debt and work with Managers and client stakeholders to develop appropriate mitigation plans.

Practice and Sales Support

The Armis VIPR and ServiceNow SecOps Architect supports Templar Shield’s Practice Leads by providing solution leadership and subject-matter expertise throughout business development and practice-growth activities.

  • Support Practice Leads in identifying, qualifying, shaping, and expanding Armis VIPR, ServiceNow SecOps, and integrated exposure-management opportunities.
  • Participate in pre-sales discovery sessions, solution demonstrations, technical workshops, capability presentations, and executive discussions.
  • Lead solution scoping and contribute to architecture approaches, staffing models, delivery plans, effort estimates, pricing inputs, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Develop solution approaches that clearly define scope, assumptions, dependencies, integration requirements, risks, staffing needs, and delivery estimates.
  • Help develop reusable service offerings, implementation methodologies, reference architectures, integration patterns, demonstrations, accelerators, templates, and training materials.
