The Art Director collaborates with teams to design corporate documents ensuring alignment with branding, manages art production, and maintains report design trends.
This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
• Work with a team of creatives and layout artists to execute annual reports, proxy statements, sustainability reports, and other corporate documents for US corporations.
o Ideating and designing compelling studies, putting reader needs and strong company branding at the forefront of your design.
o Collaborate with the Manila Production team to deliver a high volume of work on time.
• Communicate and explain design ideas confidently to the Manila production team, the US counterparts and possibly to some US clients.
• Maintain in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of report design trends and the US cultural and business landscape.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
• Experience in an established Advertising or Creative Agency in the same capacity as Art Director is preferred.
• Preferably more than 5 years of experience specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
• Preferably 2-4 years of experience managing work of different artists / typesetters.
• Preferably 2-4 years of experience working on Corporate Annual Reports.
• Can do work with minimal supervision and deliver output in a timely manner.
• Willing to work extended hours and during weekends / holidays.
• Can communicate and present clearly and confidently his/her design ideas in written or spoken English or Tagalog.
• Can start as soon as possible.

Desired design competencies:
• Expertise in typography, print design, and infographic design
• Ability to conceptualize design quickly to meet fast turnaround times
• Possesses strong problem-solving and information visualization skills.
• Technical knowledge in printing is a plus
• Report design experience (annual reports and sustainability reports) is a plus
Desired design competencies:
• Has high technical skill in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. *
