About the Role 

The Assistant Brand Manager, Commercial Marketing, will serve as a key business partner to the Director of Brand & Channel Marketing, supporting the day-to-day management of the BUXOM business across North America and International markets. This role will help drive commercial success by ensuring best-in-class execution across retail, digital commerce, and omnichannel marketing initiatives. 

The Assistant Brand Manager will develop a deep understanding of BUXOM's business, retail landscape, consumer, and commercial priorities, partnering closely with Sales, Commercial, Digital Commerce, Visual Merchandising, Education, and Global Marketing teams to deliver seamless execution across all consumer touchpoints. 

This individual will own the day-to-day management of key business initiatives, lead cross-functional coordination, and identify opportunities to improve brand performance and operational excellence. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 

Primary Responsibilities

1. Business & Brand Management 

  • Support the day-to-day management of the North America business while partnering closely with the Director to execute strategic priorities. 
  • Own the day-to-day management of brand initiatives across North America. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of brand performance, retailer priorities, and commercial opportunities. 
  • Partner with the Director to execute annual marketing strategies and business objectives. 
  • Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities. 
  • Support development of annual business plans, launch calendars, and strategic initiatives. 
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships that enable efficient decision-making and execution. 

 2. Retail & Commercial Marketing 

  • Develop expertise across the North America retail landscape and partner with Commercial and Sales teams to ensure best-in-class brand execution. 
  • Own execution of retailer marketing initiatives across Ulta Beauty, department stores, and specialty retail partners. 
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to execute retailer-specific marketing programs and promotional initiatives. 
  • Manage retailer launch timelines, marketing deliverables, and execution calendars. 
  • Support merchandising updates, fixture rollouts, education materials, sampling programs, and seasonal campaigns. 
  • Conduct regular retail audits and identify opportunities to improve execution and shopper experience. 
  • Support retailer presentations, business reviews, and commercial selling stories. 

 3. Digital Commerce Brand Partnership 

  • Serve as the primary Brand Marketing partner for Brand.com, Amazon, and TikTok Shop, ensuring a consistent brand experience across digital commerce channels. 
  • Partner closely with Digital Commerce teams to execute seasonal campaigns and product launches. 
  • Ensure brand messaging, merchandising, imagery, and promotional content are consistent across all digital platforms. 
  • Support homepage updates, promotional events, and merchandising strategies. 
  • Coordinate launch timing and marketing deliverables across digital channels. 
  • Monitor digital execution and identify opportunities to improve the consumer experience and drive conversion. 

 4. Brand Execution & Operations 

  • Lead day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives while driving cross-functional alignment across the organization. 
  • Own the North America marketing calendar and key business timelines. 
  • Lead cross-functional project management across multiple initiatives. 
  • Drive alignment across Sales, Commercial, Visual Merchandising, Education, Digital Commerce, and Global Marketing. 
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet brand standards. 
  • Manage launch trackers, retailer calendars, and marketing execution plans. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and execution efficiency across the team. 

5. Business Analytics & Performance 

  • Leverage data and business insights to support decision-making and identify opportunities for growth. 
  • Analyze retail and digital business performance across key channels. 
  • Monitor launch performance, promotional effectiveness, and commercial KPIs. 
  • Prepare monthly business updates, scorecards, and executive summaries. 
  • Develop actionable recommendations based on performance trends and competitive analysis. 
  • Support forecasting, business planning, and post-launch recaps. 

6. Executive Communications & Business Planning 

  • Support strategic business planning and executive communication across the organization. 
  • Develop presentations for leadership meetings, retailer presentations, and business reviews. 
  • Translate business performance into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Prepare marketing recaps, launch updates, and commercial performance summaries. 
  • Support annual planning, budget discussions, and strategic initiatives.

 Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field 
  • 3–5 years of experience in Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Commercial Marketing, Category Management, or Consumer Marketing 
  • Experience supporting omnichannel retail businesses within prestige beauty or consumer goods 
  • Strong understanding of retail marketing, commercial strategy, and consumer behavior 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting business performance data 
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills 
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency

 Pay Transparency 

One of our values is Stark Honesty and the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. 

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.  The pay range for this position is: $80,500-100,500.  Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
