Job Description

1. Advanced Excel Automation & Process Standardization

  • System & Process Improvement: Audit legacy regional reports and engineer advanced, dynamic, and automated Excel models (utilizing Power Query, advanced array formulas, VBA/macros etc.) to eliminate manual data input & analysis.
  • Regional Standardization: Design, deploy, and enforce uniform financial reporting frameworks and templates across all local country finance teams to ensure absolute data consistency.
  • Independent Technical Research: Act as a highly self-sufficient troubleshooter. When faced with model breaks, system limitations, or complex data logic errors, to leverage online research, technical forums, and documentation to find solutions independently.
  • ERP Optimization: Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to pull, map, and clean raw data efficiently into standardized reporting models.

 

2. Treasury & Cash Management

  • Liquidity & Forecasting: Oversee daily cash management operations, cash positioning, and regional liquidity pools across all SEA business units.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and refine rolling cash forecast models to optimize working capital and minimize idle funds.
  • Loan & Debt Administration: Manage the end-to-end administration of corporate loans, revolving credit facilities, interest payments, and covenant compliance monitoring.
  • Dividend Distribution: Coordinate, execute, and track regional dividend declarations and cross-border cash repatriations in compliance with local regulatory frameworks.  
  • Cash Submission Requirement: Ability to meet and prioritise weekly SEA Cash Flow report to the UK Group Treasury team.

 

3. Regional Consolidation & Stakeholder Management

  • Data Aggregation: Aggregate, reconcile, and analyze varied monthly financial submissions from individual country business units into a unified SEA regional reports.
  • Cross-Border Liaison: Partner closely with international finance managers and cross-functional stakeholders across various SEA countries to align cash forecasts, accounting closing processes and resolve financial modelling breaks.
  • Month-End Closing Requirement: Maintain high operational resilience and remain on standby during critical accounting month-end closing windows to support the wider team through tight regional deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Technical Excel Mastery (Mandatory): Advanced to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. You must be deeply comfortable with complex nested formulas, data modeling, Power Query, and building automated, error-proof spreadsheets.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive corporate finance or financial analysis experience, with a proven track record of improving reporting processes.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Exceptional resourcefulness with the ability to independently research, test, and implement answers to complex technical spreadsheet or data problems online.
  • Treasury / Cash Flair: Prior exposure to corporate cash management or treasury is helpful, but a strong logical mindset and a desire to master this function under direct mentorship are highly valued.
  • ERP Systems: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly advantageous.
  • Communication & Resilience: Strong interpersonal skills to manage and influence regional stakeholders across diverse cultural boundaries, alongside a willingness to prioritise fixed accounting and cash flow deadlines.
