Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for training, coaching, and the daily operations of the hotel's guest services. This includes the front desk, reservations, and audit, as well as general guest services, and working side by side with the team daily. This position helps set the tone for the guest experience and demonstrates leadership by leading by example in exceptional guest service.
As Assistant Front Office Manager, you will work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments and independently. The person in this key role is exceptional in communicating and coordinating work efforts with their team and others to achieve outstanding guest and team member satisfaction throughout the hotel. Performs quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
Requirements:
*Previous 2+ years of Assistant Front Office Manager experience in a branded hotel environment
*College degree or coursework in a hospitality-related field preferred
*Strong knowledge of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and hotel-specific platforms (OnQ, Opera, Fosse, Lightspeed, HotSOS, GXP, BOB, Kipsu, Slack)
*Fluency in English; additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are beneficial
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*High energy with effective and influential people skills. Positive attitude and the desire to motivate others
*Strong leadership skills
*Superior interpersonal and customer service skills
*Reliable with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
*Full availability is required; must be able to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
