Job Title: Assistant, Private Client 

 

Reports To: Team Manager, Private Client

 

Job Purpose: Assistant, Private Client plays a pivotal role in delivering luxury experiences to our High Jewelry clientele through our Private Client Team. This position directly supports the Team Manager, Private Client, ensuring seamless daily operations and fostering exceptional client relationships in line with Tiffany & Co.'s standards. The Assistant is instrumental in upholding the highest levels of client service and professional communication across all touchpoints for Private Clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively assist with all client appointments and communications, embodying the brand's commitment to personalized service.

  • Efficiently process high-value transactions, ensuring accuracy and discretion on behalf of the Team Manager, Private Client in collaboration with Operations Leaders. 

  • Provide expert aftersales care and manage special order requests, catering to the unique needs of High Jewelry clients.

  • Create digital High Jewelry Client portfolios.

  • Strategically partner with the store network and operations teams to secure and prepare merchandise for High Jewelry presentations and transactions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all incoming client requests directed to the Team Manager, Private Client, managing them with precision and timeliness.

  • Prioritize and meticulously manage the delivery and shipment of High Jewelry pieces, ensuring secure and timely arrival for clients.

  • Consistently ensure a flawless and cohesive client experience across all communication channels and interactions.

  • Support client gifting initiatives and coordinate follow-ups for exclusive client events and activations.

  • Accurately record and maintain detailed client profiles within Brilliance and Salesforce, leveraging data to enhance client understanding and service.

  • Always maintain discretion and confidentiality while working with high net worth & VIP clientele. 

  • Act as a High Jewelry Ambassador on the Masterpieces Floor as needed. 

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Possess a profound understanding of luxury client service, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency in addressing client needs and adept problem-solving abilities.

  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, fostering interpersonal relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with an organized approach to managing sensitive client information and transactions.

  • Thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating the ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt to evolving client demands.

  • Highly organized with the ability to effectively multitask, prioritize client requests, and manage an independent workload.

  • Resourceful and capable of thinking creatively to resolve complex client challenges, delivering innovative solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of proven retail experience, ideally within the luxury Watches & Fine Jewelry sector.

  • Strong familiarity with Salesforce is highly preferred.

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed to meet business and client demands.

  • Demonstrated passion for and in-depth knowledge of luxury brands and high jewelry products.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal). Bilingual or multi-lingual capabilities are strongly preferred, reflecting our diverse client base.

 

The hiring range for this position ranges from $25.00 - $30.00. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
