We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Account Executive to join our Commercial Lines team.

Job Purpose:

To assist account handlers in processing daily account activity. To provide technical support in accordance with company operating procedures.

Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines

2. Check policy coverages and endorsement on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevance

3. Complete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews

4. Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reports

5. Review policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculations

6. Liase with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices

7. Handle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questions

8. Perform other specific duties as directed by the Account Executive

9. Pursue a program of professional development

Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience in brokerage, consulting, insurance company
• Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly detail-oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Valid P&C license

The expected salary range for this position is $43.95/hr - $49.45/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages: health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits such as vacation, sick, and personal days, equity and commissions for some positions.
