Job Description:

Associate Creative Director, Art Director (Multicultural)

We’re looking for a New York based Associate Creative Director, Art Director, with experience art directing multicultural creative. You’ll join a team dedicated to one of our newest creative AOR wins, one of the largest healthcare, pharmacy, and consumer wellness brands in the US. You are experienced in concepting and art directing a wide variety of integrated campaign deliverables that speak to multicultural experiences and know how to cast culturally appropriate talent for productions. You’re experienced at art directing social media and activations for multicultural audiences, with an ability to art direct advertising that is meaningful to the target market. Reporting to the Group Creative Director, Creative Development, you'll join a team of creatives and be paired with a Senior Copywriter.

You’ll lead the visual language of integrated campaigns, not just execute them. You’ll join a team executing a variety of deliverables including integrated brand campaigns, retail and shopper marketing, CRM and lifecycle communications, healthcare enrollment and member communications, patient education, social and content creation, retail media and commerce assets, in-store experiences, personalization programs, and AI-enabled creative production. This highly conceptual thinker is responsible for generating, co-managing and co-directing the look, tone and feel of all on-strategy creative ideas across multiple mediums.

What you’ll do
  • Concepting and copyrighting of integrated campaigns (TV, OLV, social, performance creative, experiential) from concept through production
  • Partner closely with your ACD art director from brief to delivery, on projects of any size and style
  • Concept and comp across multiple projects simultaneously, developing campaign systems with a consistent visual logic
  • Bring a sharp eye to storyboards, comps, and mockups, knowing the difference between a rough and a finished idea
  • Work across two Creative Direction teams, alongside strategists, producers, and designers
  • Mentor a midlevel team; share what you know and make the work around you better
  • Contribute to pitches and help shape the voice of the agency in new business contexts
  • Stay genuinely interested in where culture is going, new formats, platforms, and ways of connecting
What we’re looking for
  • Experience: 7+ years in creative advertising at an agency, with a clear arc of increasing ownership
  • Portfolio: TV, OLV, social and integrated work that shows both concept thinking and craft, not just executions
  • Production chops: Comfortable on set and in post. You understand how things get made
  • Tools: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) used to build ideas, not just finish them, Figma
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in advertising, design, or a related field
Compensation & benefits

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $114,425–$150,000. Placement within the range is based on experience, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
