American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Commercial Travel & Expense space and subsequently continues to be an exciting and fast-growing segment. The Corporate Program Product Development team is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team leading digital innovation at American Express. We are responsible for deepening Client and Card Member engagement through our digital B2B products. The team's mission is to dramatically increase adoption and frequency of usage through a combination of in-depth insights, superior user experience and compelling features and functionality.

We are looking for a digital project manager to help lead a multi-year digital transformation initiative for Amex's global corporate clientele. This role will contribute to digital strategy, annual planning, delivery optimization, leadership reporting, and other critical processes. Extraordinary candidates will have a passion for digital products, fluency across project management functions and frameworks, and strong organization & communication skills.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for leading a global multi-year digital transformation initiative within a central PMO team

  • Maintain detailed project roadmaps
  • Lead investment, prioritization, and capacity planning
  • Support program reporting to leadership
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Build and maintain new processes to drive efficiency across Tech & Product teams
  • Formulate and evangelize digital transformation strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of related experience in Digital Project Management
  • Familiarity with Agile development and principles
  • Fluency with common project management techniques, frameworks and tools
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Adaptable to changing needs in a fast-past environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Scrum Master certification, and/or a Master's degree a plus
  • Knowlege of E2E software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with project management software (i.e. Confluence, Rally, Jira)
  • A "driver" personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for ongoing collaboration
  • Ability to synthesize customer feedback and data into actionable insights

Qualifications

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
