What We’re Looking For:

AmeriSave is seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Associate Director of Marketing Analytics to help build the data foundation, reporting, and insights that drive marketing performance. Reporting to the VP of Marketing Analytics, this role will be a hands-on individual contributor with the potential to manage up to one direct report.

The ideal candidate combines advanced SQL and database expertise with a practical understanding of mortgage or consumer lending, affiliate marketing, or performance marketing. This person will develop trusted analytical datasets, evaluate channel and partner performance across the full customer funnel, and translate complex findings into clear visualizations and actionable recommendations.

Success in this role requires strong technical judgment, attention to data quality, business curiosity, and the ability to independently move from an ambiguous question to validated analysis and a clear recommendation.

What You'll Do:

Database & Analytics Infrastructure

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based data models, tables, views, stored procedures, and scheduled jobs that support marketing analytics and reporting.
  • Build automated, reusable analytical datasets that connect marketing spend and lead activity with downstream sales, loan, revenue, and profitability outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain documentation, business definitions, data lineage, and governance standards for key marketing datasets and metrics.
  • Monitor data quality, reconcile results across sources, investigate anomalies, and resolve issues in partnership with Marketing, Technology, Sales, Finance, and Operations.
  • Improve the scalability, reliability, and accessibility of the marketing analytics environment.

Channel, Affiliate & Funnel Analytics

  • Analyze the performance of marketing channels, lead-generation partners, publishers, and affiliates across the full customer funnel.
  • Evaluate lead volume, lead quality, conversion, cost, revenue, and profitability to identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Conduct funnel, cohort, segmentation, and partner-level analyses to explain changes in performance and isolate key drivers.
  • Develop opportunity sizing, scenario analyses, and recommendations to support budget allocation, partner strategy, pricing, and channel optimization.
  • Partner with channel owners and business stakeholders to define performance metrics, diagnose issues, and measure the impact of optimization initiatives.

Reporting, Visualization & Business Insights

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports for marketing and executive stakeholders.
  • Create clear visualizations and analytical narratives that highlight trends, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate complex data into concise, decision-ready recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses that answer high-priority business questions and support timely decision-making.
  • Develop standardized reporting structures and metric definitions that improve consistency across teams.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams to align data, reporting, and business priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical partner to marketing leadership and channel owners.
  • Communicate analytical limitations, assumptions, and data-quality considerations clearly and proactively.
  • May manage or mentor up to one analyst as the team evolves.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, economics, finance, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related discipline.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including complex query development, data validation, data modeling, table design, stored procedures, and scheduled jobs.
  • Hands-on experience working with relational databases and large, complex datasets.
  • Experience building dashboards, recurring reports, and executive-ready visualizations in Power BI or a comparable business intelligence platform.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect detailed data findings to business performance and recommended actions.
  • Experience analyzing multi-step conversion funnels, customer cohorts, channel performance, or partner performance.
  • Ability to manage analytical projects independently from initial scoping through validation, visualization, and stakeholder readout.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in mortgage lending, consumer lending, fintech, banking, or another financial services environment.
  • Experience with affiliate marketing, lead-generation partners, publishers, or performance marketing. Candidates with both lending and affiliate marketing experience are strongly preferred.
  • Advanced experience with SQL Server, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, or quality-control workflows.
  • Experience measuring cost, revenue, conversion, and profitability across marketing channels or partners.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative or business-related field.

Why Join AmeriSave?

  • Help shape the data foundation and analytical capabilities of a leading direct-to-consumer mortgage lender.
  • Work on high-impact analyses that directly influence channel, partner, and investment decisions.
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership and cross-functional business teams.
  • Build scalable reporting and analytics solutions in a collaborative, data-driven environment.
  • Turn complex lending and marketing data into clear opportunities for growth and performance improvement.
