Role and Impact:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Merchandise & Brand Experience coordinator to oversee and evolve our global merchandise program. This role blends hands-on operational management—ensuring smooth vendor coordination, inventory control, and order fulfillment—with strategic initiatives that elevate merchandise as a powerful tool for brand engagement, employee recognition, and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
Coordinate with vendors to manage standard merchandise orders (corporate gifts, event promotional items branded apparel), ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
Maintain and track merchandise inventory, conduct weekly stock checks, and manage restocking to ensure consistent supply.
Process invoices, purchase orders, and compliance reporting in Coupa; support financial reconciliation and reporting.
Administer the online merchandise catalog/store, ensuring product accuracy and resolving issues.
Support internal requests for merchandise, including fulfillment for events, onboarding, recognition, and culture initiatives.
Program Advancement
Develop campaign-specific and seasonal merchandise that aligns with brand and marketing initiatives.
Partner with Marketing, Events, HR, and Operations to expand merchandise usage across recognition programs, recruiting, and employee engagement.
Implement sustainability practices by sourcing eco-friendly items, reducing packaging waste, and promoting responsible supplier partnerships.
Establish ROI measurement tools to evaluate merchandise impact on engagement, events, and client satisfaction.
Explore global fulfillment solutions to support regional offices and events, improving efficiency and accessibility.
Build out premium gifting and innovative merchandise strategies to enhance recruiting and client experience.
Vendor & Budget Leadership
Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing, managing contracts, and ensuring competitive, sustainable sourcing.
Participate in vendor status meetings to track timelines, project updates, and compliance.
Monitor budgets, spending, and financial reporting across merchandise programs to ensure accountability and transparency.
Innovation & Digital Tools
Leverage vendor dashboards and develop internal reporting to track merchandise usage, costs, and effectiveness.
Partner with business functions to centralize or delegate merchandise-related responsibilities where appropriate (e.g., Facilities, HR, Events).
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in merchandise management, marketing operations, or brand engagement.
Strong organizational skills and ability to balance day-to-day execution with long-term program development.
Proven vendor management and procurement expertise, including experience with platforms like Coupa.
Excellent communication and project management skills to work across multiple stakeholders.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
