This individual will support the HR Communications team, which serves the communications needs for the company's HR business functions as well as enterprise leadership communications. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging messaging across multiple platforms.
What You'll Do:
- Support the HR Communications team in crafting and executing strategic communications plans, including preparing presentations, taking meeting notes, and maintaining a team calendar of deliverables.
- Support the day-to-day management of the Employee Advocacy Program, including sourcing content, weekly content review, performance tracking, and strategies to increase employee engagement and reach.
- Manage content scheduling and distribution of communications, ensuring alignment with corporate calendars and avoiding overlap with other campaigns. Request and manage homepage CTAs on The Square to promote HR initiatives.
- Liaise with the Benefits team and external vendors to coordinate targeted communications based on demographic criteria.
- Develop and revise visual assets for digital signage and other internal campaigns, incorporating feedback and optimizing for display formats. Familiarity with visual design tools (e.g., Canva) is beneficial.
- Gather, interpret, and visually prepare metrics to ensure our communications projects deliver results; this includes collecting and analyzing usage statistics, post-meeting feedback, and other employee surveys and data.
- Explore and apply AI tools and technologies to enhance communications efficiency and effectiveness, including drafting support, content optimization, audience analysis, and workflow improvements.
- Assist in preparing for quarterly executive and non-executive promotions communications, ensuring readiness and alignment with HR timelines.
- Learn about the HR functions and develop relationships to understand how strategic communications play a role in engaging employees and achieving business goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Communications, including Enterprise Communications, Corporate Design, Editorial, and the Digital Workplace team.
- Contribute to other special projects and duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- 0-2 years' experience in a professional communications role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to be clear and concise.

- A collaborative approach to working with colleagues across functions and at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, external vendors, and cross-functional partners.

- Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements with short turnaround time.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required. Familiarity with intranet platforms and visual design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-powered communications tools (such as generative AI platforms) or demonstrated curiosity and eagerness to learn how AI can enhance communications work. Ability to thoughtfully evaluate when and how to use AI tools while maintaining quality, accuracy, and authentic voice.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- Hybrid environment: Office Tuesday through Thursday, working from home Mondays and Fridays.
