Responsibilities
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, employment eligibility verification, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.
Assist employees and managers with payroll-related inquiries, including pay discrepancies, and timekeeping issues
Support employees and managers through leave of absence and ADA accommodation requests.
Administer workers' compensation claims, including intake, coordination with claims administrators, and communicating with employees and managers throughout the process
Assist with employee relations matters, including preparing documentation, conducting investigations, and following up on action items.
Assist with the performance management cycle, including tracking timelines, compiling review data, and supporting managers on process questions.
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development on cross-functional projects as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist, or HR coordinator role.
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, including FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation processes.
Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office/Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the judgment to handle confidential information appropriately.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with sound judgment and professional discretion.
