We are looking for a talented Associate Insurance Product Manager to join a growing and dynamic team focused on developing Lemonade’s Pet insurance offerings. You’ll collaborate with our actuarial and underwriting experts to ensure we profitably grow Lemonade Pet, crafting an experience that makes insurance fast, simple, and delightful.

As a member of the Insurance Product team, you will help drive forward our product roadmap while monitoring and measuring the progress of key initiatives. At Lemonade, AI is not a buzzword, it’s core to how we build, operate, and innovate. We’re looking for someone who is curious about how data, automation, and AI can improve insurance products, decision-making, and customer experience.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.

In this role you'll
  • Partner with our actuarial and underwriting experts to work on the development of coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements

  • Measure the impact of product changes and translate insights into actionable learnings

  • Collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval, and work closely with the Product team to implement new features

  • Research market trends and competitor actions and make insightful recommendations to profitably grow the pet business

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, analytics, and decision-making through automation, AI tools, and emerging technologies

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of P&C experience, with 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience in product development or product management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field

  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and taking action

  • Strong technical skills with SQL, Looker, or similar data visualization tools, and experience creating reports and dashboards

  • Ownership mentality and project management skills, comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced remote environment

  • Comfort working in a tech-enabled environment where experimentation, automation, and data-driven decisions are the norm

  • Ability to work in a remote environment

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas

Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states; Colorado, California, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$107,500 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Speak to your recruiter to hear more about the specific salary range for your preferred location.
