WHO WE ARE

Apex Fintech Solutions (Apex) powers innovation and the future of digital wealth management by building tech-forward solutions that help simplify, automate, and facilitate access to financial markets for all. Our robust suite of fintech software enables us to support clients such as Stash, Betterment, SoFi, Webull, and eToro, amongst many others; collectively, Apex powers access to the stock market for over 22+ million end customers.

At Apex, we are changing how the securities industry operates by reinventing the status quo, which was manual, slow, and accessible only by the ultra-wealthy. We're digitizing and democratizing systems so that everyone has an opportunity to invest.

When you're at Apex, you drive this change. You're part of a global team with a clear vision: to be the trusted technology that powers the digital economy. Our offices in Austin, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Portland, Belfast, and Manila are home to over 1,000 employees.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Apex's SHARK early career program for new grads who refuse to settle for ordinary.

SHARKS are Strategic. High-achieving. Always Reimagining Key Solutions. They're hungry to solve problems in their path.

As a Product Management SHARK, you'll join a cohort of new grads on a year-long journey built to fast-track you from talented graduate to fintech product leader—through intensive training, executive mentorship, and high-visibility projects.

The basics: Begins July 2027 | In-office 4 days/week in Austin, Dallas, New York, or Chicago (Relocation Assistance Available)

What to Expect

  • Kick off with a 6-week immersive onboarding (AI/Claude training, fintech product fundamentals, and Apex culture)

  • Shape AI-powered product features and use AI tools to move from idea to launch faster

  • Join your home team as a core contributor, owning product initiatives that impact users and business outcomes

  • Lead strategic initiatives across product innovation, UX, and go-to-market

  • Build your brand through hackathons and product innovation challenges

  • Get continuous mentorship from SHARKs who've swam the same seas

Why It's Worth It

  • Real work from day one. You're an owner, not an observer

  • Direct executive access through monthly 1:1s

  • Dedicated time to build AI-powered projects that actually ship, not just experiments

  • A clear path forward. We're building future leaders, not permanent analysts

  • A cohort and alumni network that opens doors for life

Tech & tools: JIRA · Claude · Claude Code · Confluence · Monday.com · Python/R · AWS or GCP · AI development tools

What We're Looking For

  • Available to start July 2027 alongside your SHARK cohort

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, MIS, Informatics & Systems, Finance, Product Management, Computer Science, or related field

  • Typically 3.0+ GPA (exceptional candidates with strong leadership encouraged to apply).

  • Demonstrated product leadership through internships, strategic projects, or initiatives

  • Strong analytical skills; a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and complex user needs

  • Strong communicator who can influence at all levels and convey complex ideas clearly

  • Genuine curiosity about fintech and building innovative financial products

  • Eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship

Why Apex?

While other programs offer rotations and observations, SHARK offers transformation. You'll tackle product challenges that would take years to access elsewhere, present solutions to executives who implement your ideas, and build a portfolio that distinguishes you for life. We're not looking for perfect resumes—we're looking for future product leaders.
