Work across product, design, operations, and engineering to code front-end components, build back-end automations and agents, own features end-to-end, create data views and run ad-hoc analysis, and optimize marketing/design workflows using tools such as Claude/Claude code.
Book of the Month is seeking a dynamic Product Engineer to rotate across the full stack of product activities from front-end component building to back-end renewals automation and agent creation.
This role is a blend of product, design, operations and engineering into a single position that utilizes a variety of tools, including Claude code, to achieve outcomes across the individual businesses. As a part of the Product Team, this role will report into our VP of Product and work closely with all areas of the business to optimize our spec to production pipeline.
What you will do…
- Leverage Claude to code new design components and pages to minimize cycle time from Figma to production.
- Partner with member services to improve customer response times via agent automations.
- Spec and create data views for stakeholders and conduct ad hoc data analysis.
- Own product features and experiments from idea to spec, build, QA, deployment and measurement.
- Optimize marketing design workflow by creating tools using Claude code or other coding tools that support landing page multivariate testing.
- These are just some examples of the type of work you will be doing. This will evolve over time as business and customer needs change and our use of Claude matures.
About you…
- We are open to applicants who have any of the following backgrounds:
- A degree in CS
- 1-2 years of work experience as a Front End Engineer
- 1-2 years of work experience as a Product Manager
- 1-2 years of work experience as a UX/UI Designer
- You are excited about leveraging a variety of tools, including Claude, to solve business and customer problems.
- Familiarity with Agentic code tools like Claude code is a plus.
