• Support day-to-day social listening and community managment across New York Life's corporate social channels, monitoring comments, mentions, conversations, trends, sentiment, and competitive activity.
• Help respond to community activity and escalate sensitve or non-routine reputation issues according to established guidelines.
• Compile listening insights and translate them into content recommendations and brand strategy input, and support sharing social intelligence beyond the social team.
• Help maintain listening tools, queries, and dashboards.
• Draft, proofread, and produce organic social copy, static content, and short-form, platform-native video for core brand and enterprise initiatives.
• Support the social media content calendar and publishing cadence, helping ensure content is accurate, approved, accessible, compliant, and published on time.
• Coordinate requests from teams across the enterprise, including intake, content development, approvals, publishing, and Workfront tracking.
• Support monthly social media reporting, content tagging, performance tracking, and sharing of actionable insights.

Qualifications:
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in social media, community management, content creation, digital marketing, project coordination, or communications. Internships, co-ops, and other applicable experience may be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to translate conversations and data into clear insights.
• Experience with social listening, community management, and reputation monitoring.
• Strong interest in content creation.
• Strong understanding of major social platforms, trends, and audience behaviors.
• Comfortable capturing short-form video and working with people on camera.
