Associate Technical Designer, Men's Nike, TH Underwear

The Associate Technical Designer provides support for the Technical Design Manager at Calvin Klein through basic technical proficiencies and organization. This entails all aspects of our daily operations and functions.

What You'll Do:

• Track Fit Protos partnering with Sourcing team, using internal tracking system, seasonally for all fit Protos.
• Sample Proto check-in, measure incoming garments (supported by established blocks), review sample details entering in tech package in preparation for fittings
• Coordinate fit schedule with Design / Tech Team weekly
• Attend all fittings and assist the Technical Design team in managing the fit approval process. Use increasing product expertise and experience to take on expanded fit, construction and communication responsibilities
• Write up and send Fit Proto comments using WEBPDM / PLM systems to Far East partners – under managers direction and support
• Engage in daily communication and follow-up with Hub and Vendor partners for all Tech related processes
• Work with Design Team and Tech Team with set up of New Seasonal Development
• Maintain sample storage
• Assist with creating technical sketches with construction call-outs ( based on brand) and fit call-outs.
• Assist with Fit/Block and spec research
• Assist with general daily task management based on need within the Technical Division.
• Support and partner with TD/Design/GSC/Merchandise/RM teams both in NY and in HUB.
• Attend cross functional meetings and have relevant information ready for discussion.

What You'll Bring:

• Degree in Technical Design or Patternmaking, preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a Technical design role (manufacturing wholesale / retail)
• Garment construction and make detail knowledge preferred
• Prior Underwear experience a plus
• Excellent PC skills, including WEB PDM, Excel, Word, Illustrator, Photoshop
• 3D knowledge a plus
• Strong verbal & written Communication skills with the ability to take on initiatives
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment
• Strong detail orientation, self-motivated team player with superior interpersonal skills

Pay Range:$76,300---$103,100

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
