Job Title: Associate, Wealth Analyst

Department: Wealth Management (Internal Sales)

Reports To: Vice President, Manager, Internal Sales

FLSA Code: Non-Exempt

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $82,000

 

Job Summary:

Provides operational service to financial advisors in the wirehouse, regional broker-dealer, IBD, RIA, bank trust and multi-family office channels throughout the country working in partnership with Internal Advisor Consultants and regionally based Advisors Consultants to maintain and cultivate relationships. Primary responsibilities are providing operational support to consultants in their respective regional pods. The areas of support include but are not limited to business development, data entry, service of existing relationships and resolving inbound inquiries from financial advisors. Each analyst will also be assigned to support one of the three subdivisions of wealth: Retirement, Wealth Strategy & Private Wealth Solutions.

All applicants will be required to obtain their Series 7 and Series 63 and undergo training to assist in client communications both inbound and outbound related to our suite of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, Closed End Funds, private vehicles, and CITs. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Provide operational support to Internal Advisor Consultants in servicing existing relationships and sales opportunities
  • Assist on product related requests including but not limited to Morningstar templates, attribution reports and holdings analyses
  • Assist on data related projects related to prospect targeting, CRM systems management and opportunity pipeline maintenance
  • Utilize data and technology to identify specific markets, firms and financial advisors to assist outreach efforts of senior salespeople
  • Work towards achieving Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 licenses in first 3 months
  • (Once licensed) Assist on non-priority call campaigns, inbound requests and lead follow up via phone calls and emails
  • Provide superior service and support to financial advisors by fielding inbound questions, responding to requests, and resolving account issues
  • Support efforts of one of three assigned subdivisions of wealth management: Retirement, Private Wealth Solutions, Wealth Strategy (~25% of daily duties)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding stated goals
  • Degree in Finance or Economics preferred
  • 0-2 years of similar experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of base financial concepts and capital markets
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SIE required, Series 7 or series 63 preferred (if not, obtain within three months)
  • Experience within Financial Services preferred

  • Is able to abide by the firm’s hybrid work arrangement policy in New York City office (4 days in-office/1 day remote)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Salesforce, data and analytics a plus
  • Treats others with respect and consideration
  • Must be able and willing to work in a team-oriented environment

Working Conditions:

  • Majority of time is spent in NYC Office - Hours of Operation 8:30am - 5:30pm
  • Rare instances of travel may be required
