The Opportunity
As an FMRE Assurance - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies. Within our Assurance practice, you will support teams by participating in projects that focus on financial reporting and decision-making, helping clients navigate complex financial instruments and market advisory challenges. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and contribute to the delivery of independent and objective assessments, upholding transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in delivering financial market assurance services
- Participating in the analysis and evaluation of complex financial instruments
- Assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements for accuracy and compliance
- Engaging in research to understand and apply relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into audit processes
- Contributing to the development of financial reporting strategies for clients
- Collaborating with team members to address client challenges in financial markets
- Applying accounting consulting skills to enhance internal controls and financial analysis
- Gathering and analyzing data to support financial decision-making processes
- Developing a foundational understanding of financial risk management and economic forecasting
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Quantitative Finance, Real Estate
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
