Overview

Inabia is seeking an AV & Collaboration (AV&C) Support Contractor for a 6-month onsite engagement in New York City, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time position. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day audiovisual and collaboration operations, allowing senior AV engineers to remain focused on infrastructure projects, office builds, and larger engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day AV support operations (business as usual)
  • Perform daily room readiness checks and sweeps across the office floor
  • Manage and respond to AV&C support tickets submitted through Zendesk
  • Handle real-time issue triage and resolution for conference rooms and collaboration spaces
  • Coordinate with internal AV engineers to escalate complex or infrastructure-level issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues
  • Ensure all AV equipment is operational, properly configured, and ready for meetings and events

Key Qualifications

  • Approximately 3+ years of hands-on experience in AV or unified collaboration technology support
  • Proficiency with audiovisual systems, conferencing hardware, and room control systems
  • Experience using ticketing platforms, with Zendesk strongly preferred
  • Strong real-time troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to work fully onsite in New York, NY
  • Excellent communication and end-user customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Senior-level AV support or AV engineering background
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale AV infrastructure and room design initiatives
  • Familiarity with large corporate office AV environments
