Role Overview

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical liaison for key client engagements within the Pharma domain. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder management, and project leadership to drive data modernization initiatives, GenAI solution deployment, and cloud-based data engineering programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on understanding of Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, Dalta Lakes, and emerging GenAI technologies, with demonstrated experience delivering complex data transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical engagement activities with Pharma clients, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of cloud, data engineering, and GenAI-focused projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data modernization, scalable architecture, and best practices in advanced analytics and cloud platforms.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering, solution design, and technical governance across platforms such as Databricks, AWS, Snowflake, and enterprise Data Lakes.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and client teams to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
  • Oversee technical roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of complex engagements.
  • Engage in hands-on review of data workflows, architecture, and model implementation to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of GenAI, including use cases on AWS Bedrock and modern LLM-driven solutions.
  • Manage risks, provide timely status updates, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure solutions comply with Pharma domain regulatory expectations, including data privacy, governance, and validation requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of experience in technical program management, data engineering, or solution delivery roles within the Pharma domain.
  • Strong practical understanding of Databricks, including notebooks, workflows, Delta Lake, and large-scale data processing.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to: S3, Glue, Lambda, ECS, IAM, and strong familiarity with AWS Bedrock for GenAI.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, including data modeling, Snowpipes, warehouses, and performance optimization.
  • Deep understanding of Data Lakes, data ingestion, ETL/ELT patterns, and scalable data architectures.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI concepts, including prompt engineering, LLM usage, vector stores, and responsible AI practices.
  • Proven experience in data modernization initiatives within enterprises.
  • Strong communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in the Pharma industry
