The Department: Marketing

The Role: INSERT JOB TITLE

Gemini is looking for a Brand Design Intern to join our brand team. You'll work on real projects across social media, merch, landing pages, and email design, getting hands-on experience with the full design process from concept to execution. This is a chance to learn and participate in how a brand actually gets built day to day.

This Brand Design Intern should be genuinely interested in how design, technology, and culture intersect. Someone who can work independently, but is just as comfortable talking through ideas with people outside of design. Someone who can bring both a creative and analytical eye to problems.

This will be a semester long internship program with 3 days a week in person at our New York City, NY office from January to April 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Design assets for social, email, and advertising
  • Explore design directions for web and mobile experiences
  • Take direction from design leads and produce original content
  • Ideate on new concepts that can be used for email, social, and merch designs
  • Develop multiple creative solutions to a problem and present your thinking to the team

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of layout, typography, hierarchy, and motion
  • Some experience or interest in designing for web and mobile interfaces
  • Comfortable managing your time and juggling multiple projects at once
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • A collaborator who's curious about how design, product, and marketing actually work together

Pay Rate: The hourly pay rate for this role is $38/hour in the State of New York. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

In the United States, we offer a hybrid work approach at our hub offices, balancing the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Expectations may vary by location and role, so candidates are encouraged to connect with their recruiter to learn more about the specific policy for the role. Employees who do not live near one of our hubs are part of our remote workforce. All employees, however, are required to onboard in-person at one of our office locations.

At Gemini, we strive to build diverse teams that reflect the people we want to empower through our products, and we are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status. Equal Opportunity is the Law, and Gemini is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. If you have a specific need that requires accommodation, please let a member of the People Team know.
