HYPE IN NYC is a boutique creative marketing agency based in New York City. We manage the full digital presence of our clients — social media, content production, paid ads, and web development — across hospitality, healthcare, retail, and lifestyle brands.

We're looking for a Brand Manager to join our team on a freelance/contract basis.

You'll work closely with the founder and creative team to develop and maintain brand identities across multiple client accounts — ensuring every piece of content, every campaign, and every touchpoint is consistent, intentional, and on-brand.

What you'll do:
• Own the brand voice and visual direction for assigned client accounts
• Collaborate with videographers, SMM coordinators, and ads specialists
• Conduct brand audits and develop brand guidelines from scratch when needed
• Review content before it goes live to ensure quality and consistency
• Communicate directly with clients on brand strategy and direction
• Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activity for each account

What we're looking for:
• 2+ years of experience in brand management, creative direction, or a related role
• Strong eye for design, tone, and storytelling
• Experience working across Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
• Ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously without losing attention to detail
• Based in or able to commute to NYC for on-site collaboration when needed

This is a hybrid role. You'll work remotely most of the time with periodic in-person sessions in New York City.

Compensation: $56,000 – $83,000/year (contract)
