About Plume

Plume is a public, cross chain compatible blockchain built for Real World Assets (RWAs). We go beyond tokenization — enabling assets to be used like crypto: stake, swap, lend, borrow, loop, and more.

By integrating institutional‑grade assets with DeFi tools, Plume makes private credit, ETFs, commodities, and other traditionally inaccessible assets permissionless, composable, and usable at a click. Our mission: bridge traditional finance and crypto through adoption without sacrificing transparency or user experience.

  • 180+ RWA companies building dapps and tokenizing assets on Plume’s testnet, ranging from collectibles and real estate to equities and private credit
  • 50+ technology partners working with Plume and offering special services to our ecosystem partners
  • Experienced team of 20+ crypto, finance, and tech professionals from:
    • Crypto: Coinbase, dYdX, LayerZero, Binance, Galaxy Digital, Kraken
    • Finance/Tech: JP Morgan, Robinhood, Fidelity, Google, Coupa, Affirm
  • Backed by great investors and operators including:
    • YZi Labs, Brevan Howard, Haun Ventures, Galaxy Digital, F-Prime Lightspeed, Faction, Superscrypt, SV Angel, and more
Job Summary

Plume is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow and manage our pipeline of asset issuers, protocols, custodians, and institutional partners bringing real-world assets onchain. You will own deal execution end-to-end: sourcing, pitching, structuring, and closing partnerships that expand TVL and the diversity of assets available on Plume, working closely with Legal, Product, and Compliance to get deals across the line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective issuers, asset managers, custodians, and DeFi protocols for integration onto Plume.
  • Run outbound and inbound partnership conversations from first touch through signed agreement.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance on structuring terms, reviewing agreements, and navigating jurisdiction-specific requirements.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to scope technical integration requirements for new partners.
  • Track and report on pipeline health, deal velocity, and post-launch partner performance (TVL, volume, retention).
  • Represent Plume at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the competitive RWA landscape to identify whitespace and prioritize outreach.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of business development, partnerships, or sales experience, ideally in crypto, fintech, or institutional finance.
  • Track record of sourcing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and ability to speak credibly to both crypto-native and traditional finance counterparties.
  • Excellent negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and owning a pipeline independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Existing relationships with asset managers, custodians, broker-dealers, or DeFi protocols relevant to tokenization.
  • Experience structuring or negotiating agreements involving securities, custody, or regulated financial products.
  • Background in traditional finance (asset management, prime brokerage, fintech BD) transitioning into crypto.
