Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or Finance desired
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Ability to work under uncertainty and incomplete data sets
- Ability to extract relevant financial information from various sources and provide insights based on those financials.
- Commercial experience negotiating contracts and statements of work.
- Project / Program Management experience
- Data analysis, financial analysis, process design, and general system knowledge
- Minimum 8-10 years of sales or business experience within technology field
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $140,000.00 to $180,000.00+ annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
World Wide Technology is experiencing significant growth and currently has an opportunity available for a Business Development resource inside of Global Enterprise Sales. An integral responsibility of the role is to perform and present complex opportunity analysis relative to the benefits of the solution and technologies involved or from WWT provided services.
We are looking for self-motivated and driven candidates with strong skills in solution development, financial analysis, project management, business processes design, and a solid understanding of connecting technology solutions to the business and financial impact they deliver for our customers.
Business Development works closely with client managers, sales leadership, and various internal organizations, driving opportunities to closure. This entails skills in solution development, presentation development, executive presentations, proposal development, pricing, service partner selection, financial analysis, process analysis, and contract review / negotiation.
In addition to supporting specific deals with the sales organization, Business Development members are instrumental in the generation and implementation of new sales, technology and service offerings and the content used to enhance the overall WWT offering.
Qualified candidates will join a team of business development consultants to assist in driving sales, building financial impact analysis, and enabling and promoting the business relevance of our Advanced Technology Center (ATC), integration centers and professional services through business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist sales teams with opportunity identification, qualification, and pursuit strategy.
- Engage with Global Engineering Team (GET), Global Solutions and Architecture (GS&A) and technology practice managers to explore, evaluate, and present WWT Solutions to clients.
- Work closely with CSE (Consulting Systems Engineers) and TA's (Technical Architect's) to understand the business benefits of technical solutions.
- Remain current on the latest OEM (Cisco, EMC, VMware, etc.) technologies through participation in both internal and external training.
- Develop strong knowledge of WWT’s Go-To-Market (GTM), capabilities, processes and internal operations to enable Sales teams to navigate WWT, speed sales process and reduce risk.
- Provide business and commercial leadership for customer and partner contract negotiations.
- Support sales teams and Proposal Managers on formal RFPs, functioning as the business lead responsible for solution development, writing, pricing & strategy.
- Provide customer oral presentations of solutions, proposals, and business cases.
- Work with our sales teams to support Account Planning initiatives.
- Continuous development of proposal content, technical and marketing content
- Assist in the transition of "Won" opportunities to Program Management
- Develop an understanding of competitive market positioning
- Data analysis (program, company, trending, spend, other as needed)
- Translate solutions to the business and financial impacts they drive
- Build and present financial business cases
- Build and present financial models for alterative solution consumption methods comparing and contrasting the pros and cons of each including but not limited to traditional capital spending, operating leases, and utility or as a service model.
- Works with partners on project information and follow up on business leads.
- Build strong relationships with customers, OEM and service provider key stakeholders.
- Play an integral role (sometimes lead) complex sales engagement.
- Enabling the development of High-Performance Teams across all WWT disciplines based on best practices.
