In the face of today's polycrisis, we help organizations build resilience across every dimension of their organization -- their business strategy, their brand, their workforce and culture, and the way they engage all of their key stakeholders today and in the future. As a certified B Corp, we are committed to using business as a force for good and work to empower our clients to do the same.
The role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to be the operational backbone of our biz development efforts. This is a pivotal role designed to empower our senior practitioners by building and managing the systems, processes, and materials they need to win new business.
You are not a traditional salesperson; you are a master of systems, a meticulous organizer, and a skilled project manager. You will bring structure and rigor to our growth efforts, enabling our team to focus on building client relationships and delivering visionary work.
Who you are
You’re an experienced operator who’s led multiple fast-paced, multifaceted projects. You know how to manage timelines, stakeholders, and budgets, and you bring a calm and steady presence to complex environments. You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and can keep a team focused and energized.
You may be in a Senior Account Manager, Senior Project Manager or low-level Account Supervisor role today, with experience in brand strategy, innovation, or creative services. You’re confident working with mid- to senior-level clients and internal employees and know how to contribute to both strategic conversations and day-to-day execution. You bring a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to everything you do.
You’re excited by non-traditional creative environments and value a workplace that feels more like a community—one that celebrates wins together, supports individual passions, and champions personal and professional growth.
What you'll do
Growth Systems & Infrastructure: Design, implement, and continuously optimize the systems that power our business development. You will own our CRM, ensuring data integrity, building dashboards, and creating processes that provide clear visibility into our pipeline and growth metrics.
Proposal Project Management: Act as the central project manager for new business proposals and RFP responses. You will own client communications, coordinate timelines, gather inputs from our practitioners, and ensure every proposal is polished, professional, and delivered on time.
Enablement & Knowledge Management: Create and maintain a centralized, easily accessible library of our most critical growth assets. You will be responsible for organizing, updating, and version-controlling case studies, reference proposals, team bios, and all other materials needed for new business pursuits.
AI & Systems Curiosity: Proactively explore, pilot, and leverage emerging AI systems and tools to drive automation, enhance predictive analytics, and unlock new operational efficiencies across the growth pipeline, driven by a deep sense of curiosity.
Performance Marketing Management: Take ownership of our Google Ads strategy and budget. You will manage campaigns, analyze performance, and optimize spend to generate a consistent flow of qualified leads for our senior team.
Analytics & Reporting: Translate data from our marketing channels and CRM into actionable insights. You will track key performance indicators, measure marketing ROI, and provide our leadership team with clear, concise reports on the health of our growth engine.
What you've done
- Have 3-5+ years of experience in an operations-focused role such as Growth Ops, Marketing Ops, Project Management, Account Management or a similar function, preferably within a consultancy, agency, or B2B services company.
- Are an exceptional project manager who thrives on bringing order to complex, multi-stakeholder processes like proposal development.
- Are an enthusiastic early adopter of technology with a proven ability to utilize AI systems to automate workflows and surface actionable insights.
- Are extremely organized and detail-oriented. You find joy in creating elegant systems for knowledge management and ensuring information is accurate and accessible.
