Why this role matters

Formance is a $21M Series A company backed by PayPal Ventures and top-tier investors, building the financial backend that powers the next generation of fintechs, banks, and digital platforms.Already partnering with Coinbase, Fireblocks, and leading financial platforms across the US and Europe.

We opened our New York office almost a year ago. We have the product, the momentum, and a growing revenue team. What we need now is someone who can generate high-quality pipeline from scratch — reaching out to the right people, starting real conversations, and knowing how to talk to engineers and technical decision-makers without losing them in the first two minutes.

This isn't a role where you follow automated sequences and wait for replies. It's for someone who actually enjoys the hunt — researching a prospect, crafting an outreach that cuts through the noise, and turning a cold intro into a qualified conversation.

What you'll actually do

  • Own outbound from end to end — identifying high-potential targets across fintech, crypto, and financial infrastructure, crafting personalized outreach across email and LinkedIn, and running initial discovery calls before handing off to the AE team.

  • Your buyers are VP Engineering and CTOs. You'll need to understand what they're building well enough to make them feel like Formance gets their problem — before they've ever heard of us.

  • Work closely with the founders and AEs to sharpen messaging, test new approaches, and help build the outbound playbook as we scale the US market.

What we're looking for

  • 1+ year in a B2B tech sales environment. You've done real outbound, not just inbound qualification.

  • More than experience, we care about how you operate. Do you do your homework before reaching out? Can you hold a technical conversation without a script? Do you iterate on what's not working instead of sending the same sequence on repeat?

  • You're comfortable in an early-stage environment where you help build the process, not just execute it. You're a doer — high volume, high quality, and you don't wait to be told what to do next.

Package

70k base · $115K OTE with uncapped variable · Equity · 401(k) · Health insurance · Annual team offsite in Europe
