About the Role 
We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven candidate to help build out the company’s sales initiatives and expand through the RIA and FA markets. Candidates will share in incoming leads derived from joint marketing initiatives with major industry players and direct inbound sales inquiries.  As the first line of contact, candidates are expected to have a basic understanding of the RIA and FA markets and knowledge of pain points within various tech stacks.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate qualified leads
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and pipeline activity in the CRM
  • Follow up on inbound leads and nurture them through the early stages of the sales funnel
  • Establish a feedback loop between sales, marketing, and product teams to gather insights on lead quality and refine strategies
  • Sales presentations and demos: Provide demos of Syntax Direct to prospects and respond to questions or concerns in the sales process

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-3 years of successful sales experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms (preferably HubSpot)
  • Basic understanding of core investment management principles
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PPT or Canva
  • Occasional travel required

  • Client-focused perspective
  • Excellent teamwork and entrepreneurial skills
  • Business development and/or partnerships experience
  • Strong industry network and relationships
