We are seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Associate to partner directly with our Head of Engineering during a period of hyper-growth. This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career (2–4 years of experience) to work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution. You will serve as a force-multiplier to the Head of Engineering, ensuring priorities are executed, processes are streamlined, and the team scales effectively as we triple ARR and grow from 50 to 150+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Act as the right-hand operator for the Head of Engineering, supporting daily execution and strategic initiatives.

• Manage team operating rhythms: weekly standups, sprint planning, OKR tracking, and project reviews.

• Build dashboards and reporting on engineering productivity, velocity, and resourcing.

• Track cross-functional dependencies with Product, Sales, and Customer Success.

• Drive follow-through on action items and ensure accountability across the team.

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and training for Engineering hires.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years in operations, consulting, program management, analytics, or related field.

• Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities.

• Analytical mindset with comfort working with data (Excel/Sheets, basic analytics).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling environment.

Work Location & Flexibility
This position is based in our New York City and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to work on-site a minimum of two days per week (NYC is 3 days in the Blueflame office). Please note that specific business units or role requirements may necessitate additional in-office days based on team collaboration needs or operational priorities.

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate’s compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position.  Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
