Ideal traits
We’re looking for a Business Operations leader to own the gnarliest problems at Marble and help us transform mental healthcare for millions of kids nationwide. This is a rare opportunity to build mission-critical functions from scratch, shape strategy, and design how Marble scales. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, product, and execution — and see your work translate directly into families getting the mental healthcare they deserve.
- Own the toughest, most ambiguous problems at the heart of the business. You’ll jump into our most complex challenges, starting with building our revenue collection function. You’ll partner closely with the CEO, co-founder, and senior ops leaders to uncover what’s working, what’s broken, and what to fix first — then make it happen. That might mean diving into a messy spreadsheet, reimagining a broken workflow, or picking up the phone to get answers from payers, patients, therapists.
- Build the systems that power Marble’s growth. You’ll design the processes, tools, and partnerships that take us from scrappy to scaled. That could mean designing smarter internal workflows, scoping product features for our engineers, or working with the right vendors to supercharge execution. You’ll help us move fast now, and set us up to grow even faster later.
Must have
- You have 5+ years of experience in strategy and operations. You’ve worked in environments where you had to figure things out, not just follow a playbook.
- You’re based in New York and can work from our SoHo office at least two days a week.
Nice to have
- You’ve worked at a startup or in a high-growth environment.
- You’ve worked in healthcare or with insurance systems.
- You’ve worked closely with product or engineering teams to build tools or processes.
- ⚒️ Process thinker who likes to build — You know how to get from 0→1 with scrappy, simple solutions, and then 1→100 by spotting patterns and building systems that scale.
- 🏃♀️Relentless drive — No task is too small for you. You’re just as willing to call a payer or follow up on a denial as you are to design a long-term solution.
- ❔Thrive in ambiguity — You can make sense of messy claims data and get to the root of a problem, even when the path isn’t clear.
- 💙 Introspective team player — You’re a thoughtful communicator, open to feedback, and focused on what’s best for the mission and the people we serve.
