How You Will Make an Impact
- Respond promptly to inbound sales calls and efficiently meet defined call handling metrics
- Develop and present comprehensive sales proposals that address customer needs, maximize revenue opportunities, communicate current marketing campaigns and promotions demonstrating knowledge of competitors' offerings for product comparison's
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and customer information, collaborate with Spectrum Business support teams to complete sales using Spectrum's databases
- Recommend bundled telephony, data and video solutions alongside other Spectrum products for existing customers, assess client locations for serviceability and obtain construction estimates using company software
- Educate customers on installed products, service options, billing and features to ensure clear understanding
- Stay up to date on technical details of Spectrum Business services and solutions, including telephony, data, wireless and video
- Consistently achieve monthly sales goals through a consultative, call-flow driven approach, attend ongoing training sessions on products and service
- Follow up on customer requests via phone or email to ensure satisfaction

What You Will Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)
Experience
- Proven track record as a high performing sales professional with sustained results
Skills
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Working knowledge of cable communications products and services including video, data and voice
- Strong customer service, professionalism and courtesy throughout sales transactions
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously such as listening, answering questions and order entry
- Able to work variable hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- 2+ years sales experience preferably selling Voice, Data and Video solutions in the small and mid-sized business market
- 2+ years Call Center sales experience preferably in a business-to-business and/or telecommunications industry
