The Business Services Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for executing full-cycle recruitment for Business Services positions across the Firm’s U.S. offices. Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Services Recruiting, this role partners closely with regional business leaders, Human Resources, hiring managers, and external recruiting partners to attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent in support of the Firm’s business operations.

The Supervisor deploys recruiting strategies aligned with local market conditions, manages candidate pipelines, advises hiring managers throughout the selection process, and ensures hiring practices comply with applicable employment requirements. 

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for Business Services positions across U.S. offices, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, interview coordination, offer support, and onboarding transition.
  • Partner with hiring managers and regional business leaders to understand workforce needs, define position requirements, establish recruiting strategies, and provide market insights.
  • Deploy targeted sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, professional networks, search firms, and other approved recruiting channels to build diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and evaluations, assessing technical qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment with the Firm.
  • Facilitate interview debriefs, consolidate stakeholder feedback, provide hiring recommendations, and ensure timely progression of candidates through the recruitment process.
  • Partner with Human Resources on offer development, compensation discussions, reference checks, background screening, and pre-employment requirements consistent with local practices.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, data privacy regulations, Firm policies, and recruiting standards.
  • Maintain relationships with external recruiting agencies and search partners supporting hiring, negotiating terms, and monitoring search effectiveness.
  • Support employer branding and recruiting initiatives, including networking events, professional associations, and talent pipeline development.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6–10 years of progressive recruiting experience, including a minimum of 4 years within a corporate, professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting Business Services professionals.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior business leaders and hiring managers.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and developing direct sourcing strategies.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong project management, organizational, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred

  • Recruiting experience within a law firm, professional services organization, or comparable corporate environment.
  • Experience with Workday.
  • Experience recruiting within an international or global organization.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-location hiring initiatives and working across diverse stakeholder groups

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
