As a Business Strategy Manager (VP) on the Engagement & Product Marketing team, you will lead strategic planning, program management, and business performance tracking. You will oversee operational processes, manage key initiatives, and drive cross-functional alignment to deliver measurable outcomes.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly planning cadences for Engagement and Product Marketing.
- Partner with leadership to prioritize work by business impact, capacity, and dependencies.
- Co-manage the Marketing Intake forum, including intake processes and decision documentation.
- Lead the team engagement and education forums, including town halls, quarterly learning, new hire events, and team engagement.
- Oversee the program management portfolio, including leader communications, platform implementations, and enablement.
- Manage finance forecasting and budget tracking to align resources and monitor expenditures.
- Run operational forums by managing agendas, materials, notes, and documentation.
- Coordinate business reviews, executive presentations, and cross line of business forums.
- Build partnerships with Brand, Finance, Data and Analytics, Marketing Center of Excellence, Communications, and Human Resources.
- Define and govern key performance indicator frameworks and scorecards, including targets and reporting.
- Deliver performance insights, drive operational excellence, develop a direct report, and lead special projects end to end.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital/Technology, or Business (or equivalent experience).
7 years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in marketing, product marketing, product, strategy/ops, or related environment.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization and drive alignment without direct control over resources.
Strong strategic planning and program/project management expertise; ability to run multiple workstreams simultaneously under tight timelines.
Excellent executive communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfort with KPI design, performance reporting, and translating data into action.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to build trust quickly and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities; sound judgment and bias for action.
Recognized as a collaborative partner who elevates team effectiveness.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, plus experience leveraging AI-tools to drive effectiveness and efficiencies.
Experience leading cross-functional work across marketing, product, analytics/data, and channel teams in a matrixed environment.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Experience in a large-scale consumer marketing organization, financial services, or other regulated environments.
Experience with omnichannel lifecycle journeys, including mobile, web, email, text messaging, push, in-app, and paid media.
Experience building playbooks or operating models that enable teams to self-serve and scale best practices.
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others in structured problem solving and experimentation methods.
Ability to operate hands-on in the details while maintaining an executive-level perspective and narrative.
Deep customer empathy and curiosity; consistently acts as voice of the customer and never settles for “good enough”.
