About the Position

We are looking to hire a Campus Recruiter to help us develop strategy and grow our recruiting efforts as we identify, interview, and hire interns and new graduates for both our Research and Machine Learning Research teams. You will help us plan, organize, and execute our internship programs for both teams in our New York office.

Hiring the right people is one of the most important parts of our business. We have developed a dynamic recruitment strategy and engaging interview process to find and hire some of the best and brightest new talent from all corners of the world. But our campus recruitment efforts are growing fast, and we need additional strategic thinkers to help us stay ahead of the curve.

We are looking for someone who can deliver excellent day-to-day candidate management while also zooming out with members of Recruiting and teams across Jane Street to think about what we can be doing better, and where our recruiting efforts need to go next.

Our ability to get the little things right, stay responsive and helpful, and create connections with our candidates is what drives our recruiting success. You’ll need to be highly organized with excellent attention to detail and a roll-up-your-sleeves, no-job-too-small attitude. Your ability to balance efficiency with genuine empathy for candidates will make you a valuable addition to all aspects of the team.

About You
  • Have 8+ years of professional recruiting experience (having experience managing a summer internship program is strongly preferred)
  • Eager to learn new skills and make an immediate impact
  • Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, candidates, and search firms
  • Approachable and humble about what you do and don’t know; not afraid to ask for help and admit mistakes
  • Self-starter who can manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Curious about the operations of the firm and how recruiting fits into the bigger picture
  • No financial industry experience is required

If you're a recruiting agency and want to partner with us, please reach out to [email protected]
