JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Capital Calculations and Reporting (CCR) role is a senior management position that will report to the Head of Cross-Risk Advisory within CCR. The individual will drive the assessment of the proposed changes to the current U.S. Basel regulatory requirements (the “Basel III and GSIB NPR”) in preparation for implementation and contribute to various workstreams in an advisory capacity. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Enterprise Technology and Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight on the execution of the strategic direction for the Basel III and GSIB NPR / final rule implementation and work in collaboration with stakeholders to complete deliverables that support the strategic direction. This includes the assessment of the proposed changes, identification of any gaps in processes or controls, including critical data elements, and documentation to support conclusions.
  • Work in collaboration with Regulatory Capital Policy Group to ensure delivery of any guidance needed to implement changes in Basel requirements that adhere to the Basel rules.
  • Review business requirements and work in partnership with technology to deliver the Firm’s RWA calculations and associated internal and external regulatory reporting requirements associated with the Basel III and GSIB NPR / final rule.
  • Provide thought leadership to peers and program leaders in the implementation and adoption of frameworks, methodologies, and tools, including integration of AI.
  • Partner with Finance Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control structure. 

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of current Basel RWA calculations and reporting.
  • Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.
  • Exceptional communication and written skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and translate into "user-friendly" language for multiple audiences, including senior management, internal constituents and regulators.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them.
  • Strategic mindset, ability to plan ahead to future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic environment and work well as part of a team.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
