POSITION SUMMARY

B Capital is seeking an Associate to join the Capital Formation team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the firm’s fundraising efforts and contributing to broader Investor Relations initiatives.

The Associate will work closely with the Capital Formation team to support fundraising execution and relationship management, including preparing materials, tracking investor interactions, coordinating follow-ups, and maintaining internal systems such as the CRM.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting Capital Formation:
    • Assisting with investor engagement efforts and maintaining up-to-date CRM records and fund pipelines
    • Overseeing the accuracy and integrity of the investor database and related platforms through thorough data validation
    • Coordinating the planning and execution of investor events, conferences, and related logistics
    • Preparing briefing materials and support for leadership ahead of meetings and speaking engagements
    • Contributing to the development and optimization of processes and infrastructure across the Capital Formation function
    • Assisting with the preparation of fundraising materials including executive summaries, pitch books, PPMs, DDQs, etc.
    • Collaborating with investment and finance teams to complete due diligence requests

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience in investor relations or business development at an asset manager, financial institution or placement agent
  • Fluent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and managing CRM systems
  • Undergraduate degree

The salary range is $100,000 - $120,000 and will be commensurate according to relevant experiences.

The salary range applies to California and New York candidates only. The actual salary may be subject to change.
