Job Description Summary
The CFO - Macro is responsible for leading all financial strategy, planning, and performance management for the Macro business (e.g., rates, FX, macro trading, FI finance). This role partners closely with business leadership to drive profitability, ensure strong financial governance, and optimize capital allocation in a dynamic market environment.
Financial Strategy & Leadership
  • Serve as the primary finance advisor to the Heads of Macro and senior leadership team
  • Shape and execute financial strategy aligned with business growth objectives
  • Provide insights on market trends, revenue drivers, and competitive positioning
Business Performance Management
  • Oversee P&L management, forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Analyze revenue, cost, and profitability drivers across macro products (Rates, FX, FI Financing)
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and actionable insights
Capital & Balance Sheet Optimization
  • Partner with Treasury and Risk to optimize capital allocation and liquidity usage
  • Drive ROTCE/SVA improvement initiatives
  • Monitor balance sheet efficiency and funding costs
Risk & Controls
  • Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Risk to assess exposures and support stress testing
  • Oversee capital planning, CCAR (if applicable), and regulatory submissions
Strategic Decision Support
  • Support pricing, deal structuring, and investment decisions
  • Evaluate new product initiatives and market expansion opportunities
  • Provide scenario modeling and stress analysis for macroeconomic shifts
Cost & Efficiency Management
  • Lead expense management and productivity initiatives
  • Drive cost transparency and optimization across the Macro business
  • Align investments with strategic priorities
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as key liaison between Macro business, Corporate Finance, Risk, Treasury, and regulators
  • Present to senior executives, including CFO, CRO, and business heads
  • Influence decision-making at the executive and board level
Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 10+ years of Finance experience or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications, US:
  • Deep knowledge of macro products (Rates, FX, FI Financing)
  • Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), capital management, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
