About us

ATG (Autonomous Technologies Group) is an AI lab deploying frontier reasoning systems within financial markets. Autonomous is an agentic wealth manager built on this foundation.

Founders: Early GPU cloud (9 figure exit).

Investors: Led by Garry Tan / YC with participation from one of the most successful quant funds, BoxGroup (Plaid, Ramp, Stripe), and other top-tier angels.

About the Role
Autonomous is building a superintelligent financial companion, a system that understands a person’s complete financial life and acts on it with precision. The Client Director helps that vision reach our customers. You welcome new clients, guide them through onboarding and setup, and make sure they get lasting value from Autonomous. The role sits at the intersection of business development and client success: you own the customer relationship, you grow our base, and you carry the voice of the customer back into the company to shape what we build next.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage prospective clients through referrals, professional networks, and targeted outreach, building a consistent flow of qualified opportunities

  • Guide customers from first conversation through onboarding and setup, and into lasting success with Autonomous

  • Own the customer relationship end to end: building trust, driving adoption, and growing our customer base

  • Lead onboarding from invitation to fully live, so every relationship begins with clarity and momentum

  • Ensure customers realize the full value of the platform, helping them get the most from Autonomous as their needs evolve

  • Establish a relationship model in which clients feel known, never managed

  • Define the service standards, escalation paths, and operating processes that let the firm grow without compromising quality

  • Build the systems the client team runs on: CRM workflows, pipeline reporting, service tools, and performance dashboards

  • Serve as the voice of the customer: gather feedback, identify patterns, and translate them into clear input to the product roadmap and ongoing improvements

  • Set the standards, culture, and operating model for the client team that comes after you

Requirements

  • A strong record serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients at a leading private bank, registered investment adviser, multi-family office, or comparable institution

  • Active, daily use of AI tools in your work, and genuine enthusiasm for defining an AI-native way of working

  • Strong operating discipline: you build processes, document standards, use data, and continuously improve how work gets done

  • Fluency with technology, and comfort working shoulder to shoulder with product and engineering to improve both the client and advisor experience

  • A consultative, professional approach and excellent written and verbal communication

  • High agency and ownership: you take initiative and follow through

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment

  • Hold the Series qualifications required to work as an investment adviser representative: Series 65, or Series 7 + 66

Why Join ATG

We're building a small, elite team. If you're excited by AI, markets, and building from first principles, we’d love to meet you.

  • Work on AI with a massive market opportunity

  • Early team of repeat founders backed by top investors

  • High agency, talent dense, zero bureaucracy
