The Role:
Canoe is looking for a Client & Partner Marketing Associate to support and expand our client and partner marketing strategy in collaboration with Business Development, Sales, Product, Channel Partnerships, and Relationship Management.
This role centers on storytelling. You must be an effective communicator, verbally and in writing, to help us find the right client voices and narratives, build stakeholder relationships, and create impactful materials. You'll turn key clients and partners into growth engines through integration-focused campaigns and peer-led advocacy.
You'll coordinate across a large network of partners and clients, so strong prioritization and project management skills are essential. You'll communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels
What You'll Do:
Client Content & Messaging Execution
  • Support client marketing content development, from idea generation through delivery across Canoe's audience segments and buying stages (e.g., announcements, blogs, webinars, article placements, podcasts, and videos).
  • Support the development of customer advocacy content (case studies, testimonials, webinars, event activations, speaker engagements).
  • Help shape customer marketing narratives, demonstrating our Client-First value by simplifying clients' experiences and crafting stories that deliver value to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to schedule interviews, prepare discussion guides, and move stories from initial conversation through final approval.

Partner Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Support partner marketing efforts for the Canoe Partner Program, including ecosystem storytelling, messaging, and co-branded assets.
  • Develop partner-ready messaging kits, solution briefs, decks, demo narratives, and customer-facing content.
  • Build strong working relationships across partner organizations.

Program Ownership
  • Serve as a key marketing point of contact for clients, partners, and internal client-facing teams.
  • Contribute to the development of client and partner marketing playbooks with clear, structured execution standards.
  • Support execution and optimization of cohesive client and partner storytelling and support high-touch engagements.

Marketing Enablement & Campaign Support
  • Collaborate with Implementation and Relationship Management teams to prioritize marketing campaigns for the right clients at the right time.
  • Partner with Events Marketing to power hosted and sponsored events (webinars, roundtables, happy hours) through strong customer storytelling and speaker preparation.
  • Support Product Marketing and Channel Partnerships as needed with Canoe-partner integration launches, co-marketed events, and client education materials.
  • Support Growth Marketing, Business Development, and Sales in cross-selling, referral pipeline goals, and ABM campaign development.
  • Collaborate across the Commercial organization to identify, recruit, and nurture client champions, and guide internal teams on how to leverage the client story library.

Measurement & Reporting
  • Track social proof activity and flag trends, make data-driven adjustments, and use insights to optimize strategies.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of partner KPIs for each partner, tracking pipeline impact, deal velocity, engagement, and co-marketing performance.
  • Regularly report outcomes and insights to Commercial leadership, client stakeholders, and partners.

What We're Looking For:
  • 2-3+ years in client and/or partner marketing for B2B SaaS or enterprise technology; AI, fintech, or alternative investments experience preferred. Candidates with backgrounds in journalism, content creation, or storytelling (e.g., blogging, podcasting, or editorial work) are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Builder mentality: highly organized, self-directed, thrives in ambiguity, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with emphasis on the ability to translate complicated technical concepts and implementation details into compelling narratives.
  • Excellent ability to gain the trust of senior stakeholders and influence with confidence and credibility.
  • Strong discretion, especially when dealing with sensitive or confidential client and partner information.
  • Deep understanding of the customer lifecycle and the role of customer marketing across acquisition, expansion, and retention.
  • Collaborative, customer-centric mindset with a knack for connecting cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
  • Attention to detail with a strong bias toward action, ownership, and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from ambiguous concept through implementation and analysis.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, Hubspot, WordPress, Canva (or similar tools).
  • Stays current on customer marketing best practices and evolving product narratives.
  • Experience owning and delivering success across 20+ enterprise or strategic relationships at any given time.

What You'll Get:
  • Medical, dental, vision benefits
  • Flexible PTO
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible work from home policy
  • Home office stipend
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Gym/Wifi reimbursement
  • Education assistance
  • Parental Leave

Our Values:
  • Client First -> Listen, and deliver client-centric solutions
  • Be An Owner -> Take initiative, improve situations, drive positive outcomes
  • Excellence -> Always set the highest standard for yourself and others
  • Win Together -> 1 + 1 = 3
