Institutional Cash and Trade (ICT) is part of Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank and a leading provider in payments (#1 EUR clearer) and trade finance solutions for Financial Institutions across the globe. ICT’s product offering includes cross border payments, FX solutions, liquidity management and trade finance & lending. Our international team is based in >25 countries and covers clients across ~140 markets. We set industry trends by being a thought leader and acting as the clients’ Global Hausbank advisor and solution provider. To expand our client coverage beyond top tier commercial banks and central banks across the globe, we are looking for a Client Sales Manager Fintech to join our organization effective immediately.

What You’ll Do

  • You are responsible for driving the ICT’s  FinTech sales strategy to meet ambitious revenue objectives through new client acquisition including targeted sales and marketing campaigns
  • You build comprehensive and lasting client relationships with Americas’ FinTech clients and prospects to win their cross-border payments business and drive further cross-sell
  • You collaborate effectively with Product Management, Technology and Corporate Cash to drive the development of targeted client solutions based on client demand and market feedback
  • You represent ICT at industry forums and client seminars as a subject matter expert for FinTechs and cross-border payment solutions
  • You manage effectively KYC/AML risk for your respective FinTech portfolio to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations as well as internal risk appetite, polices & procedures
  • You report directly to the Head of Fintech Sales for Cash & Trade Finance and are directly responsible for sales / P&L

Skills You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience in Fintech, financial services, payments, or cross‑border money movement role
  • Proven experience in B2B payment sales, partnerships, or business development experience operating in regulated financial services environment, including AML, KYC, sanctions screening or financial crime framework.
  • Bachelor Degree from an internationally renowned university, combining technical engineering education with business- or strategic management qualification.
  • Experience in managing correspondent-banking, cross-border payments, KYC/AML and liquidity management solutions.
  • Proven ability to bridge client objectives, regulatory requirements and core technology delivery.
  • Fluent in English, other languages a plus

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $140,000 - $217,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
