FlexTrade is seeking a highly motivated Client Services Manager / Trading Analytics Specialist to support the continued growth of our Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) and Trade Surveillance business. This role sits at the intersection of trading workflows, client onboarding, analytics, product feedback, and day-to-day client engagement.

The ideal candidate understands institutional trading workflows, enjoys solving complex operational and data challenges, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This individual will work directly with buy-side and sell-side trading desks, compliance teams, sales, product, and development teams to onboard clients, deliver analytics, troubleshoot issues, and help clients maximize value from the FlexTrade analytics platform.

This is a highly visible role with significant growth opportunity across analytics, client strategy, product management, and trading technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Onboarding & Implementations

  • Lead onboarding efforts for new TCA and surveillance clients across equities and multi-asset workflows

  • Gather and document client requirements, workflows, reporting needs, and data specifications

  • Coordinate with client technology teams and internal engineering resources on connectivity, FIX workflows, APIs, SFTP setup, and data ingestion

  • Validate and reconcile incoming order and execution data to ensure data quality and accuracy

  • Manage implementation timelines, testing, UAT, training, and go-live support

Client Services & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for institutional clients

  • Conduct regular client reviews focused on execution quality, TCA findings, surveillance alerts, and workflow optimization

  • Deliver analytics presentations and explain trading results to traders, heads of trading, compliance teams, and portfolio managers

  • Troubleshoot client issues related to data, benchmarks, analytics, reporting, and platform workflows

  • Build trusted relationships through proactive communication and high-touch support

Trading Analytics & Surveillance

  • Analyze pre-trade, real-time, and post-trade trading analytics

  • Support trade surveillance workflows including alert review, calibration, and investigative analysis

  • Assist clients with benchmarking, peer analysis, broker evaluations, and execution optimization

  • Help clients interpret trends across execution performance, liquidity, participation rates, venue selection, and algorithm behavior

  • Support ad hoc client analysis requests and customized reporting initiatives

Internal Collaboration & Product Feedback

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Data teams

  • Translate client feedback into actionable product enhancement requests

  • Assist with Proofs of Concept (PoCs), client trials, and strategic evaluations

  • Help improve onboarding processes, documentation, training materials, and operational workflows

  • Contribute ideas to enhance scalability, automation, and client experience

Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in institutional trading, TCA, EMS/OEMS, market structure, surveillance, trading operations, or fintech client services

  • Strong understanding of equities trading workflows and electronic trading environments

  • Experience working with institutional clients including asset managers, hedge funds, broker-dealers, or asset owners

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable interpreting large datasets and identifying trends or anomalies

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-starter mentality with strong ownership and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with TCA platforms, EMS/OEMS systems, or trade surveillance solutions

  • Familiarity with FIX protocol, APIs, market data feeds, and order lifecycle workflows
