About Us

Sharebite is the leading meal benefits platform built exclusively for companies to feed their employees. Our platform allows employees to order meals from any restaurant while streamlining all of the ordering & billing requirements for the company. Every meal ordered through the Sharebite platform results in a meal donation to local partners like City Harvest and Feeding America to help combat food insecurity. To date, Sharebite has donated over 20 million meals.

About the Role

As a Client Operations Associate, you will be Sharebite's eyes and ears on the ground. You'll run on-site operations for our Group Order service at our enterprise client offices, making sure every delivery goes smoothly. Reporting to the Client Operations Lead, you'll work closely with our Restaurant Operations and Customer Support teams so that large group orders arrive on time, are well organized, and leave every client happy.

This is a part-time, in-person role based in New York City. Hours vary based on client order volume, but we aim for 6–15 hours per week of assigned work, mostly during late-morning and lunchtime delivery windows. Candidates should expect regular travel to client offices and potentially partner restaurants within New York City.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor group orders after the ordering window closes, working with Restaurant Operations and Customer Care to keep restaurants on track for on-time delivery
  • Be on-site at client offices to manage delivery logistics, including escorting couriers through security, freight entrances and other building-specific procedures
  • Unpack and arrange large volumes of meals on Sharebite shelves so employees can quickly find their orders
  • Stay on-site until all meals are claimed, resolving missing-item or order issues with Customer Support when needed
  • Check out with office management after each delivery, collect feedback, and pass it to Restaurant Operations and Client Operations
  • Represent Sharebite to employees of our client offices – answering questions, providing support, and receiving feedback

Required Skills and Experience

  • 1–2+ years of experience in operations, hospitality, food service, events or a client-facing role
  • Dependable, professional and trustworthy, with pride in representing a brand
  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to reassure clients without overpromising
  • Clear, concise communicator who can relay detailed information quickly to internal teams
  • Comfortable and respectful when working with client staff, from office managers to executives
  • Ability to comfortably navigate smartphone apps for scheduling, shift updates, and daily operational tasks
  • Humble, hardworking team player
  • Flexible availability during weekday late-morning and lunch hours
  • Comfortable on your feet and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Speaking a second language, especially Spanish, is a plus

At Sharebite, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry and market standards. The compensation for this role is $20-25 per hour, however actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, and location.

At Sharebite, we're passionate about our mission to alleviate hunger and inspire employees to connect their work to a larger purpose.
