Position Overview

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is currently seeking a Clinical Specialist –to join our Spine team in Israel. This is a field-based role, primarily supporting hospitals in the Central region and Jerusalem. The position involves 100% in-theatre presence during spine surgeries, providing hands-on clinical support and working in a highly dynamic environment. This is an intensive field role with challenging hours and significant uncertainty, as work schedules depend on operating room timetables. The role also includes approximately two Friday shifts per month.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Expertise
  • Provide expert clinical support during spine procedures, ensuring proper use of implants and instruments.
  • Deliver professional training sessions and education programs for surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff.
  • Stay current with advancements in spine surgery techniques and technologies.
Business Development
  • Support the sales team in achieving commercial objectives through clinical excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with key hospital accounts and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and executing territory plans aligned with business goals.
Market Intelligence
  • Gather and report insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine value propositions and support product launches.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper inventory management and consignment control at hospital sites.
  • Report and manage product complaints and adverse events in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Emergency Medicine, or related clinical fields.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in orthopedics or spine surgery.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with healthcare professionals.
  • High learning agility and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
  • Fluent in Hebrew and English; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the Central region and Jerusalem.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous work experience with Magen David Adom (MDA) or similar emergency medical services.
  • Experience as a paramedic
  • Advanced degree or certifications in relevant fields.
